Mastering Arabic

The Arabic language curriculum consists of four levels:

Beginner Level:

• Accurately learn the Arabic letters (reading, writing, listening, and pronunciation).
• Distinguish between short and long vowel sounds with different diacritics.
• Read simple words and sentences.
• Acquire new vocabulary.
• Apply reading skills and acquired knowledge to Quranic texts and other general texts.

Elementary Level:

•  Learn new vocabulary with a deep understanding of their meanings.
•  Develop the ability to grasp the main idea from any spoken text in Modern Standard Arabic.
• Read any text and understand the general meaning, along with the ability to answer related questions.
• Write an essay or letter in Arabic with a minimum of 90 words.
• Engage in short conversations in Arabic about daily life and current events.
• Speak and express yourself in Arabic fluently for 15 minutes without interruption.

Intermediate Level:

• Expand vocabulary and acquire new words.
• Begin learning Arabic grammar and apply it in speaking and writing.
• Understand the system of word derivation in Arabic and recognize subtle differences in word meanings based on context.
• Practice parsing sentences according to Arabic grammar rules.
• Engage in progressively deeper discussions on various topics, such as the environment, ethics, society, and Islamic history.
• Study selected topics in Arabic to enhance analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Write essays of over 180 words, focusing on correct grammar and syntax usage.
• Practice listening to and understanding documentaries in Modern Standard Arabic.
• Read a variety of books and novels to improve linguistic and cultural understanding.
• Deepen your connection with Arab and Islamic culture by reading contemporary books and engaging with authentic cultural texts.
• Continue advancing in learning grammar and syntax, with a focus on practical application.

Advanced Level:

At this level, a customized program will be designed for each student based on their interests and preferences. The primary goals of this level are to:

• Achieve full fluency in speaking and writing in Arabic.
• Develop critical and analytical thinking skills through the study of complex texts.
• Enhance the ability to express ideas and opinions clearly and accurately.
• Attain an advanced and comprehensive understanding of linguistic and grammatical rules, with a focus on practical application.

This advanced program ensures that each student reaches their highest linguistic potential, taking into account their individual needs and interests.
